Currently, I have 2 beautiful Arabians for sale. I have reached the age where it's time to cut back. Good homes a must for both of these horses!
Casey is an 11 year old purebred Arabian gelding. He is Sweepstakes nominated. Registered Name: Electric Star JPL AHA 0563177 Date of Birth: 4/27/99 Color: Bay with a small star. No other white. Height: 14'3". Disposition: Easy going, laid back. Gets along well in a herd situation and is not dominant. Easy to handle for grooming, bathing, trimming, etc.
Experience: Casey will easily load and unload in either a straight load or slant load trailer. Has camped several times and does well in an electric pen, portable corral or on a HighTie trailer tie. He has been used on trails, but I believe he would do well in the show ring. Several people have commented that he would look great in Western Pleasure, but he could probably also go English. Not recommended for endurance or limited distance. He does not seem to enjoy doing the miles that an endurance horse must do. (After a few miles, he tells me he is ready to go home!) I had been keeping him thinking that my husband might do some light riding with me, but that is not going to happen. So, Casey is looking for a new home.
Currently, Casey is barefoot. On trails, I use the Easyboot Gloves on his front feet. He has been shod before, but I prefer barefoot care.
Location: McLoud, OK For more information, call 405-964-3665 and ask for Bev.

Arianna is a 9 year old purebred Arabian mare, but is not registered. I have all the proper forms & signatures required to get her registered. Her original owners didn't bother to get her registered and since I don't show or breed, I have not pursued the matter. She was bred to be a pony sport horse. So, she is not very large. Measured with a stick, she stands 13.3 3/4"--just a shade under 14 h.
Date of Birth: 4/13/01. Color: Grey (The picture shows her with dapples, but she is nearly white now.) I will get updated pictures in the near future. Disposition: Very easy to handle, groom, bath, trim, etc. She LOVES attention. Gets along OK in a herd situation. While she is not aggressive, if she gets picked on she will fight back. For this reason, I have to keep the old and cranky alpha mare away from her. Arianna runs with 2 geldings and another mare when on pasture. Experience: She will load in either a straight load or slant load trailer. Has done a lot of camping and does well in an electric pen, portable corrals or on a HighTie. I have used her for trail riding and had been planning on using her for my back-up endurance horse. However, I am no longer doing endurance and as she is one of my 'younger' horses, she is offered 4 sale. Don't let her small stature fool you. She can trot faster than a lot of big horses. She is forward and requires an intermediate or experienced rider. She would be content to just trot and canter all the time, but common sense requires that she listen to the rider and follow orders. Her previous owner was a bad mix of a timid child rider and an impatient mother, neither of which Arianna respected. Treated harshly, she will react poorly. Treated with kindness and consistency, she will behave the same way. For that reason, the ideal person for Ari is a small adult rider who is confident in their abilities, not timid, consistent in their signals and familiar with Arabs. She has been ridden in a snaffle, a Kimberwick and an S-Hack. She has not shown me any particular preference, but the S-Hack is pretty convenient for me. I have not had time to ride her for well over a year, so she is not ready to do an endurance ride right away. Recommendation: Arianna needs lots of exercise and attention. She would be best for a small adult or youth who is a confident rider and familiar with Arabians who wants to do endurance, limited distance or competitive trail with her. With her stature, she is easy to mount or dismount on trail or lean over to open gates. (I haven't taught her to open gates, but I'm sure she could learn that quickly!) She is fun to ride and has more personality than 10 horses! She is an "easy keeper", so should not be on pasture 24/7 unless she is also getting a lot of exercise. She currently gets about 6-7 hours/day on pasture. The rest of the time, she has a dirt paddock with a run-in shed and grass hay. Location: McLoud, OK. For more information, call 405-964-3665 and ask for Bev.
Currently, she is barefoot. I've used the the Easyboot Gloves on her whenever I ride her. She has been shod in the past and did fine for the farrier.
The first picture shows her at one of the "breast cancer cure" rides in Stillwater, OK. The second picture was taken at home. As you can see from her face, she is special and she knows it.
